Clinical Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Urologic Oncology

Artificial Intelligence in Urologic Oncology

Artificial intelligence in urologic oncology has been successfully applied to applications such as interpreting diagnostic imaging, pathology and genomic annotations.  Though artificial intelligence is capable of interpreting a wealth of patient data to enhance diagnosing, staging, treatment and monitoring genitourinary malignancies, predictive outcomes require numerous forms of data to firmly make further progress in urological oncology.   Developments in artificial intelligence must overcome predictions based on one type of data set, by encapsulating entire patient populations, and incorporating external validity.
